2019国拍自产在线Welcome to BURNVEG.COM, a site with forumsand information on how to burn Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO or SVO - Straight VO, UCO - used cooking oil) as fuelin diesel vehicles and your home, without making Biodiesel.
This is one of the simplest and best alternative fuels or biofuel for economic, environmental and political reasons.
WVO is usually collected used for free from restaurants. WVO is not biodiesel but can be made into biodiesel by processing with hazardous chemicals which we don't get into here. I think its easier to convert your vehicle once to use WVO as you get it, instead of converting your WVO to biodiesel every time.
It only works in Diesel engines, not in your gasoline powered car! Your power and mileage will be about the same as on diesel, the only difference you notice is the exhaust may smell much better. Diesel engines typically get far better mileage and pulling power than the same vehicle with the gas engine option. That's why almost all large semi trucks and other big equipment use it.
You could just dump some WVO in your tank, and it would run, but for how long before you have problems? Thats why there are forums to discuss the many ways to do it without shortening the normally very long life (>300k miles) of a diesel engine.
WVO is one area where the "accepted wisdom" is constantly being revised, and often due to the work of people on this forum.

Beginners section and FAQ
The 2 main categories on the forum are: 2 tank conversions start on diesel or biodiesel, and switch to heated WVOfrom the 2nd tank when the engine is warm. They can burn WVO 100% even in very cold weather since they usually heat the WVO to 160F just before its injected into the engine. Then shortly before shutting off the engine, they are switched back to diesel to purge (clear) the WVO from the linesand pumps and fill them with diesel so it doesn't solidify in the lines.
2 Tank Veggie Oil Conversion and General discussion
Single tank systems modify the fuel by blending to thin the fuel, and sometimes add some of the heating modifications that are in 2 tank conversions. This is a more risky approach and is usually only considered worth the risk in older, tougher, non electronic engines likeMercedes until 1995, and Dodge Cummins trucks until 1998. It also doesn't work as well in cold weather since SVO gets thick, clouds and will clog filters at between 20 - 30 F temperatures.
Single Tank Systems and Blending SVO WVO
WVO must be filtered and dewatered before using it as biofuel. Simply pumping through a filter isn't enough, and water block filters designed for diesel fuel won't remove the water from WVO.
